Summer Place 28, in Shelly Beach on the South Coast is suitable for self-catering holiday accommodation. Shelly Beach, a small seaside town that is very popular for shark cage diving, deep-sea fishing, whale and dolphin watching trips as well as scuba diving expeditions.  Shelly Beach has a long white beach on one side and a rocky beach on the other side extending to St Michael’s Beach.  The rocky beach is great for walking and pottering around with kids. There are numerous rock pools to be found that have all the creatures that you find in a small seawater aquarium.

Just offshore lie the PROTEA banks, a deep dive site famous for the ragged-tooth shark sightings. The weather on the South Coast is superb, even in winter. The sea temperature, which is influenced by the warm Mozambique current, seldom drops below 19 degrees. Shelly Beach Centre as well as the Spar are within walking distance. Shelly Beach has two shopping malls with a wide range of restaurants as well as a movie house.  Furthermore, the Oribi Gorge, as well as the Wild Casino, are less than 50km away. Summer Place complex is secure and fully enclosed. The gardens are well kept and include a fenced-off swimming pool as well as a communal braai area.  Direct beach access as well as to the tidal pool via a private gate.

Summer Place 28, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, ground-floor holiday flat sleeps four people. The main bedroom has a double bed (ceiling fan) and an en-suite bathroom (shower). There are two single beds in the second bedroom (ceiling fan) as well as a sleeper couch in the lounge. In the second bathroom, there is a bath.

This apartment has DSTV. Please remember to bring along your own TOWELS. No smoking is permitted in the unit.
