Laguna La Crete 88 with air-con is situated in a complex in Uvongo on the South Coast and is suitable for self-catering holiday accommodation. Uvongo is a bustling seaside holiday town known for its wonderful beach and lagoon that stretches back from the beach to a beautiful little waterfall. Uvongo beach has shark nets and there are also lifeguards. This beach is also protected from the southwest wind. On the grassy banks, there is a swimming pool. Curios are available to buy or admire from the local craft market on the beach. Great fishing from the fishing pier and the rocks.
Furthermore, the Pavilion Restaurant overlooking Uvongo beach, apart from lovely views also has great food. The setting overlooking the beach, the rocks, and out to sea is magnificent.
Other attractions include numerous rock pools that stretch from Uvongo beach to Lucien beach and a fishing Pier on the edge of the beach. Lillie Crona is a 2.5 km stretch of road along the rocks between these two beaches which abuzz with walkers, joggers, and cyclists every morning and evening. Laguna La Crete is a well-maintained complex with a swimming pool in the front of the complex, communal braai area, laundry facilities, tennis court as well as undercover parking. There is easy access to the beach at low tide. (Please remember to book the tennis court in advance at the Laguna La Crete office.
Laguna La Crete has 24 hour boomed security entrances with CCTV and security patrols. PLEASE NOTE: this complex has its own water supply (borehole with reverse-osmosis filtration system). It is therefore not dependant on municipal water.
Laguna La Crete 88, a three-bedroom, 8 sleeper apartment on the second floor that has lovely sea views as well as lagoon views. The kitchen/dining room/lounge is open plan and opens up onto a balcony where there is a gas braai. There is an air-con in the lounge. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering with a dishwasher. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom (bath). The second bedroom has two single beds as well as a ceiling fan. The third bedroom has two bunk beds and also has a ceiling fan. The second bathroom has a shower as well as a bath.
Remember to bring along your own DSTV/PVR decoder, smart card (no Explora's) as well as your Towels.
No smoking is permitted in the unit. There is also an optional cleaning service of R200 per service on request.
