Uvongo is a lovely little seaside resort village on the Hibiscus Coast. Uvongo is probably most famous for its picturesque waterfall that plunges into a lovely little lagoon. The lagoon and beach are protected by cliffs and dense indigenous trees and foliage which must make Uvongo beach one of the most beautiful in the world. Paddle boats, as well as canoes, are for hire on the lagoon. Uvongo beach has lifeguards and also shark nets, therefore, making it an excellent swimming and surfing beach.

Other attractions include numerous rock pools that stretch from Uvongo beach to Lucien beach and the Fishing Pier on the edge of the beach.
